We purchased our apt in a coop and we hired Robi who came highly recommended by our real-estate agent friend. We interviewed 3 GC’s and he stood out. Importantly, we lived out of state during the entire process. You could imagine how concerned we were being out of state and dealing with the complexities of a coop which we had no experience. Robi was very communicative. He managed the process extraordinarily well. He has a fantastic team and we were especially happy with his on site project manager. Robi got along extremely well with the building super, who told me that Robi is one of the best GCs he’s worked with. The project went a bit over the time schedule and budget, but that was caused because we had some change orders. Robi was very fair in coming up with a mutual solution that we were all happy with. Robi and his team were a pleasure to work with- they were consistently professional, considerate, organized, clean and always wrapped up each day with an electronic summary and photos of their progress. Even during the COVID pandemic, Robi's team implemented sanitization resources and processes to ensure they were respectful of our unit and the rest of our building residents. Working under a tight timeline, Robi was able to scope out the work and costs in a reasonable and digestible format. His team never cut corners and were open to us improvising and making slight changes when we changed our mind about a design or material choice. Robi and the team at Timeline were fantastic to work with. We’ve done many construction and renovation projects in our homes over the last few decades and have had our share of good and bad contractors. Timeline is definitely one of the best. Professional, top quality work and staff. They protect your home and furniture and clean up at the end of each day. They arrive when they say they will and don’t leave you hanging. The end result is beautiful. So far they have dropped two of my ceilings just two inches to install chandeliers where there was only concrete, and they turned a closet into a large pantry with a granite topper appliance bar. They will be back to renovate one of my bathrooms in 2020. Pricing is honest and the bills are accurate although I did ask for receipts for everything (I always do! Trust but verify.)
